Tuesday Corporate Prayer July 31, 2012

 Introduction: Psalm 25:1-8

Lord, grow in us trust. Make us wait in faith upon you, looking to your deliverance in patience. Make us receive clear understanding of your ways, to dwell in your secret place and be molded by you. Quiet our hearts by your Spirit for this time of intercession. Thank you Lord!

ABANDONED DEVOTION-NIGERIA AND GHANA

Thank you for abundance blessing in these countries. Take Christians to a higher level. Bring resurgence of meditation on the Word. Let there be a submission to the evaluation of Your Word and a moving away from the nominal to an abandoned devotion lifestyle.

Bring an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and align them to God’s heart. Let the peace of God be upon them.

We pray for a personal interaction with God in prayer and study, beyond the preaching of men and access through electronic gadgets. Let memorization and study characterize their lives and bring a re-visitation of the 1970s revivals on campuses.

We cry out for the raising of the young generation to stay focused. To live in the Spirit, not being content with life in the flesh. For a Holy discontent with the flesh, to overcome temptation and avoid sin. For life in the spirit to become the norm.

That they will truly love and know God. Daniel 11:32 to be fulfilled in them experientially. For God to be manifest to the young generation and to influence how they live their lives. For the manifestation of power in their lives

Matthew 7:15 “..beware of false prophets…” For a balanced preaching of the Word of God. For protection of young believers’ minds from false teachings. For true mentors to disciple them according to God’s Word. False teachers and prophets to be unmasked.

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

In the believers, the church leaders, on campuses, in families, in all the cities and towns and villages.

Thank God for work in Nigeria and Ghana. God to continue to bless them and bring spiritual awakening among leaders. For believers to stand on the gap for their nations. God to bring an understanding of events and malaise around them. There be an infilling of the Holy Spirit. We pray for the authorities.

Psalm 32:8 “…I will instruct you in the way you should go…” We pray for greater impact , even beyond their borders . A moving of the Spirit in them.

For the new president in Ghana. He be kept and strengthened.  To lead with integrity and wisdom, according to God’s directions.

Spiritual awakenings in churches in northern Nigeria. To trust in God and be strengthened. To love Muslims. For a worshiping lifestyle. For influencing especially Muslims. Destroy spirit of enmity between Christians and Muslims.

MESSAGE BEARERS

Acts 1:8 For empowered message bearers not content with work in their nations alone. For church leaders to open up to missions.

For empowered message bearers to affect surrounding nations. For church leaders to leave their comfort zones and venture the harvest fields.

For Vision 50/15 in Nigeria to be real and not to just be a church ambition. For church leaders to catch the vision. For emerging generation to respond en masse. For churches to be moved beyond empire building to God’s Kingdom vision.

For greater understanding among the student generation. For a new push of the global harvest and to participate in giving, praying and going.

For a new breed of message bearers from these countries, loving to work in unity, to pray together and willing to go. For wisdom to ask, seek and knock.

UNREACHED CITY

Tel Aviv in Israel.  The second largest city.  90% Jews, and insignificant Christian presence.

That God will bring His people back to His heart in this life time. To bring them to a fullness of His plan for them.

A softening of the hearts of Jews in Tel Aviv, a breakdown in their resistance to the gospel. God will raise appropriate message bearers on their behalf and for true believers to be formed in Tel Aviv.

Jews to know that gospel is the power God for the salvation of all who believe, Jews first. To embrace this truth and recognize Christ as God’s ordained Messiah; the only Way, Truth and Life.

CONCLUSION: Thank God for these nations. Be with us in our different tasks today and manifest Your will for us each moment.

INTRODUCTION

Matthew 7:7

Ask, Seek, Knock

⁷ “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

• Lord we desire to pray what is in your heart this morning, your perfect will.

ABANDONED DEVOTION – Cuba and the Bahamas

Ephesians 1:17

¹⁷ I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit^[a] of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.

• Open their eyes and enlighten their hearts to move from nominal to radical Christians
• Help them to turn their backs from materialism and pursue an intimate relationship with you
• Raise radical leaders who will take up discipleship programs, so as there will be a transformed people who look like you Lord

Romans 12:2

² Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is —his good, pleasing and perfect will.

• Pour out a spirit of prayer and worship, sweep over these nations, let there be hearts abandoned to you

2Corinthians 4:11

¹¹ For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.

• Lord we pray that they will be willing to die to their flesh and be willing to deny self and the pleasures of the flesh.

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

 
Spiritual unity among churches and believers;

• Prayer movements, prayer and fasting to arise
• Pastors to start preaching messages of who you are, your character and also preach against sin
• Pastors who will take up the life of abandoned devotion, deliver them from pleasing mean but God alone
• Pour out your Spirit to drive out all fear because it is not by power nor by might but by the Spirit says the Lord(Zechariah 4:6)
• Cause a hunger in them such that as they seek your face they anticipate great revelation of you
• Raise true worshipers, songs given by the Holy Spirit

MESSAGE BEARERS

Romans 1:16

¹⁶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile

• Raise up message bearers who are not ashamed of the gospel, people sold out to you
• May they look  up to you the author and finisher of their faith

Colossians 1:9

⁹ For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives,

• May these message bearers be filled with the knowledge about their purpose on earth
• May they know your will over their lives and be confident in it as you are the good shepherd,not lead your sheep astray
• Put seeds of their destiny in their hearts and let it be a deep desire in their hearts to be used of you
• Spiritual formation for these young people, that they will not be half baked, but have a personal intimate relationship with you Lord.

UNREACHED CITY – Comoros in Madagascar

• Stronghold of Islam will be broken
• Raise up a church, that even in the catholic church Jesus will be taught, salvation, heaven and hell i.e. Biblical truths taught
• Holy Spirit break out the fear of men so as the believers will be committed to you
• Not rely on Islamic aid, which is leading many astray into believing in an empty religion. Create dissatisfaction in these aid  in Jesus name
• Capture the hearts of children  and turn them towards you
• Raise up and equip Muslim background believer with boldness that they will declare with the angels and the 24 elders in heaven,’ Worthy is the lamb of God who was slain’
• Matthew 16:19- bind the destroyer/the enemy of our souls who have held this tiny Island captive, we pray Lord, lose your kingdom

Friday, July 27th 2012 PRAYER

ABANDONED DEVOTION – Mauritania·        

• Reveal yourself to the believers in this country·    
•  Pour your spirit upon them 
•  Know your presence is not about feeling but faith 
• They seek deeper into you, be devoted to you

Jeremiah 33:3

³ ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

•  Teach them to love you with all of their mind, heart, soul and strength because you created us to love you and not work for you
• May you cause increase of religious freedom in Jesus name

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING 

• Lord may you be glorified in this country
• Pour a greater measure of faith upon them
• Raise a prayer movement, prayer warriors in Jesus name. Pray for believers to start houses of prayer for all nations in their homes
• Destroy any demonic powers over this country in Jesus name

MESSAGE BEARERS

• May they catch the fire and vision of global harvest and tell others about it
• Raise many to go to Mauritania and have such spiritual authority
• May your word in them be like fire we pray
• We pray for high quality message bearer, who are approved of God and surrendered to the Holy spirit
• A deep desire to share their faith, train and form them Lord

Thursday, July 26th 2012 PRAYER

Introduction:

Psalms 32:1-2

¹ Blessed is the one
    whose transgressions are forgiven,
    whose sins are covered.
² Blessed is the one
    whose sin the Lord does not count against them
    and in whose spirit is no deceit.

•        Lord thank you for you take our sins as far as East is from the West.

KINGDOM OF JORDAN AND KAZHASTAN

ABANDONED DEVOTION – Thank you for the growing church despite a heavy presence of Islam

•  Reveal yourself to believers 
•  Fill them with your Holy Spirit
• Develop  the eight beatitudes in each of their lives
• They develop fruit bearing lives and realize it’s all about you Lord
• Pray for the church in growing persecution, give them Spiritual Unity/courage to stand/they make use of every opportunity as the days are evil
• Young generation to grow in the fear of the Lord and not of men.

Philippians 1:9

⁹ And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

•   May your love abide in them Lord!

 SPIRITUAL AWAKENING – We pray Isaiah 64 over these two countries

• Ask for a mighty shaking that will draw unbelievers  to you Lord
• A mighty change in the hearts of men of nominal and hardcore Islam to the life of Love of Jesus Christ
• We ask for a Pentecostal in these Nations mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit
•  Come and refresh these dry countries
•  A spirit of prayer and supplication be poured in a mighty way, cause men and women to wail in agony as they pray for the salvation of their own

MESSAGE BEARERS

• Grow the mission movement in these countries and may mighty harvest come forth
• Mature the leaders of the church and the mission sending agencies
•  Let them develop an emotional steadiness that whatever comes their way they put their trust in you
• We pray that the church here will not bury the talents God has put in them and instead they will re-invest what they have received from you for your Kingdoms sake
• May they bold enough to declare like Shad-rack, Meshach and Abednego that even though our God doesn’t save us we will not bow down to your idols
• Their hearts will not be swayed by what men say or threaten them
• Test the hearts of the message bearers that you are preparing now through adversity so as when they go to the mission field in the near future, they will not be discouraged but will trust in you

UNREACHED CITY – Nepal

• Thank you for this was a Hindu Nation but now it is not anymore, the government has allowed some form of religious freedom.
• Continue raining your presence in Nepal, let there be refreshment and a mighty harvest
• Raise men and women to go throughout this country with your message of salvation and hope
• Put your hand upon the current government, give it your wisdom and a sense of direction
• We pull down any strongholds Nepal, and we pray against child labor and girl child trafficking in Jesus name

Wednesday, July 25th 2012 PRAYER

Introduction:

Rev 4:8-11

⁸ Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy

Is the Lord God Almighty,

Who was, and is, and is to come.”

⁹ Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

¹¹ “You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things, and by your will they were created
    and have their being.”

• Lord teach us to worship you  with the above words
• Create in us a Spirit of true worship, that when the music fades and all is stripped away, when we simply come that we will give you more than a song

EGYPT AND ALGERIA

ABANDONED DEVOTION – Deep relationship with you Lord, help the believers to stand firm in their faith and have more courage.

Job 13:15a

Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him

• Lord let the above be the cry of their hearts, that though they face persecutions they will put their trust in you.

Ephesians 3:16

¹⁶ I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,

• We pray that these believers will be strengthened on the inside, spiritual and emotional, and that love will motivate others; love for you, love for the church and love for the lost.
• That they will comprehend at a greater level the depth, width and height of your love for them.
• Raise up Daniel’s in these countries that will not bend by the rules of the world, not give up but hunger and thirst after you even though laws may be put across that forbid them to seek you, let them stand firmly for you
• May they people of the word(Joshua 1:8)

2Timothy 2:3

³ Join with me in suffering, like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

• Help them to stand firmly in you even in the midst of persecutions
• Pray that you shall appoint leaders who will be of good influence to the society and who will live a blameless life and will be a living testimony
• Help them to seek you first(Matthew 6:33)

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING – Believers to be salt and light in the society.

• We pray that you appoint key leaders in Algeria and Egypt and you give them to rebuild Christianity in their countries just like the time of Nehemiah ‘Nehemiah Spirit of rebuilding the wall’

John 12:24

²⁴ Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

• Lord we understand that you use suffering to bring forth fruit in our lives, give us a willingness to die to self daily, give us a self denial over self gratification

MESSAGE BEARERS

• Praying for spiritual unity among believers
• We thank you because so far the church in Egypt has been producing 100s of message bearers to go to unreached places, Lord we ask that you take them to a higher level and produce 1000s of them who will reach countries like Libya,Tunisia,Arab North African Countries with your word
• May they have a tangible presence of God in their lives, equip them with all the skills needed in Jesus name
• We pray against barriers like; cultural, theological and financial that might hinder them from answering your call in Jesus name

UNREACHED CITY – Cairo in Egypt

Isaiah 19

• Lord use the current revolution for your glory
• Pray against the Spiritual stronghold of Magic, witchcraft, covenant of death and idolatry in Jesus name. May the banner of Jesus be lifted higher and higher
• We pray against idol worship in Jesus name(Isaiah 19:1)
• We ask for a contagious fire of God in Egypt that will not be contained by any human boundaries in Jesus name

MANILA- PHILIPPINES

• Thank you for the evangelical movement in this nation, thank you for the 1000s and 1000s young people that are constantly gathering to pray for revival
• We pray for Spiritual awakening and mission mobilization among young people
• Let today’s meeting with Stanley have a historical impact, may your favor, clarity of mind rest upon Stanley
