Psalms
24:3-6
3 Who
may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
5 They
will receive blessing from the Lord
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek your face, God of Jacob.
To the emerging
generation of believers, reveal the fear of the Lord, they be the generation
that have not lifted their hands to an idol, a generation who seek the face of
the God of Jacob.
Proverbs
4:5
5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do
not forget my words or turn away from them.
May
it be a generation that seeks and receives divine wisdom and knowledge from God.
Give us a hunger and a thirst to press into knowing of your mysteries of who
you are and of your workings in our lives in Jesus name.
We
pray that you will lift the veil and the idea that Christians in this
generation can live a Luke warm life, complacent living, but let there be a
higher standard of Christianity in our generation we pray.
Matthew 5:3-11
3 “Blessed are the
poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7 Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8 Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 “Blessed
are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil
against you because of me.
We pray that the above eight beatitudes will be developed
and engraved in the lives of these young people in Jesus name.
- Blessed are the poor in heart-means those living in humility
- Blessed are those who mourn-means those who grieve deeply over their sin and the sin of others, that there will be such a hatred of sin and the sinful nature
- Blessed are the meek-means those who are gentle, have power under control, that is they do not try to revenge or avenge any wrong doing that has been done unto them
- Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness-means those who desire a life of holiness and purity
- May all the above emerge in the lives of believers and even persecution, that is suffering for Christ’s sake
PREVIOUS GROUP OF INTERNS
Lord we bring the previous group of interns in your presence
that they will not forget of all that you have already taught and spoken into
their lives. That they will not succumb to all the pressures of ministry, which
will rob them the need to maintain an intimate relationship with you.
Move in power in their lives, show them the next step to
take and continue providing all the answers to all of their questions. We pray
for those in school that the business of the school work will not distract them
from spending plenty of time with you. Show each one of them the depths to
which you have called them and the unique gifting you have already deposited in
their lives.
THE VISION OF THE GLOBAL MISSION MOVEMENT
Lord we thank you
because you have already revealed this vision to many people in the world, we pray
that you will continue pouring your spirit upon many and may you call this
mission vision into fruition in Jesus name.
Give us the wisdom even as you lead us to connecting with
many many more people and even ministries. Pull people together and connect all
the dots by your spirit, do this by your hand in Jesus name.
We ask for 100s and 100s of ministries to come join up to
make the NSMM (National Student Mission Movement) in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya,
South Africa ,Romania, Singapore, Indonesia(raise an army to the unreached we
pray), Philippines(more ministries catching this vision), Argentina, Paraguay, USA,
Canada, Hongkong, India ,Guinea and even Gambia .
Lord add Nation after Nation to this movement and may you
provide leaders in each country who will drive the mission vision in their
respective countries. Provide divine connections all over the world and make
this vision into a thriving initiative.
Lord we ask that through all these different countries
there will be message bearers who want to give their lifetimes to difficult
places of the world where the message of Jesus salvation has not yet been preached.
We pray that through the many message bearers that you are raising, 1000s and
1000s of souls will come into the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Help us and even young people in this generation not to
forget the importance of spending time in prayer and even in your word. Because
the work of salvation is not by power or might but by the spirit says the Lord.
Inspire us and give us strength today, in your name we ask. Amen
