Psalms 23

¹ The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
²     He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
³     he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths
    for his name’s sake.
⁴ Even though I walk
    through the darkest valley,
I will fear no evil,
    for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
    they comfort me.

⁵ You prepare a table before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
    my cup overflows.
⁶ Surely your goodness and love will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

EMERGING GENERATION

Lord we pray that all the barriers placed before them by the enemy will be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We pray for all those from broken families and shattered pasts  that you are going to restore them, restore 100 fold all that the enemy has stolen in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord we pray for their complete healing in Jesus name so as they will be equipped to go to the Nations for your glory.

We pray that you will provide understanding to this generation to know that suffering is part of what you call us to. Help them not to avoid the hard life you are calling them to and preferring the easier ways which are  not necessarily your ways because  what you always call us into  are God sized tasks that only God can accomplish.

You do this so as we can always learn to see issues through your eyes, through the eyes of faith so as to see on the supernatural not on what is happening on the physical.

 Lord we believe you are working out and training this generation this way so as to see many commit to going to the hardest places of the earth to take your good news and not to quit when the going seems tough but to hold onto you and unto your promises for your glory.

James 5:7-8

⁷ Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. ⁸ You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

Lord we ask that you cultivate patience, perseverance and faith in a mighty way in this generation for your glory. Just as the farmer waits patiently for the rains to come may you cultivate such patience in us in Jesus name

Lord may you provide for all of our financial needs we pray. Provide for all the interns who are planning to come as well, Lord we know we can trust you because as we look back over the past 10 years your hand has continually supplied and sustained us.

You have not let us down Lord, so as choose to continue trusting in you and in your sovereign ways. Rise up more donors; individuals, churches, foundations who will faithfully stand with the work you are doing through SVM2 throughout the world.

Build in more and more staff for this international equipping centre Lord. 

Bring on board more people who are like minded, those gifted in various ways, those with holy and pure hearts and them who are willing to give their lives to laying a strong foundation for SVM2 here in Chiang Mai. Thank you because you have promised to build a Spiritual community of staff, interns and people who will be coming to pray in the prayer room even for 3or even 4 months, do it Lord for your glory.

INTERNS

Lord we pray for the interns who are supposed to come over for this fall internship, give them the courage, a faith that comes only from you. Help them to look to you alone for their breakthrough, show yourself faithful to them Lord. Let this be a spiritual marker in their journey of faith with you, that this will be a testimony to many through them. Build encouragement, faith, comfort and hope in them we pray.

We pray for the ones coming from Uganda Lord sort things out, quickly resolve everything. We rise against any powers of darkness in the whole process in the mighty name of Jesus. We speak confusion over the plans of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus; Lord may you take over all this visa process and favor them for your glory we pray.

We trust in you Jesus, we trust in your goodness Lord. We thank you for your grace, your faithfulness, your goodness Lord. We thank you for each of the coming interns, we trust you to accomplish every detail for us in Jesus name!
