Search our hearts Lord and see if there is any offensive way in us and lead to the way everlasting (Psalms 139:23-24)

Wash us, cleanse us and make us worthy to stand before your Holy presence once again. Thank you because your mercies are new every morning.
 ABANDONED DEVOTION IN UGANDA
Ephesians 3:17-19
17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
  • We pray that you shall create the awareness in the Ugandan church of how high, deep is your love for them and that this shall develop the confidence in them about you
  • Generate this quality of being confident in who you are in their lives and also of who they are in you
  • Let them be confident in your goodness, love and in your promises
  • Let them develop a daily confidence to trust you, draw close to you
  • Help them to draw near to you in good times and in bad times as well, that they will be steady and confident in you despite of the external circumstances
  • And that this steadiness helps us as believers to stand for you in the midst of persecutions and uncertainties’
  • That they joy of the Lord will be their portion even amidst hardship because their confidence is in the unchanging God
SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
Jeremiah 33:3
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
  • Lord may you raise a righteous remnant in Uganda especially among the young people
  • Pour out your Holy spirit upon all flesh and upon the emerging generation of believers we pray
  • We pray against the spirit of complacency and compromise among the young generation of believers and even the church, that they will not be satisfied with the status quo but they will zealously seek after you because you promise us to find you when we seek you with all of our hearts
  • Reveal to them that you are a God who keeps His promises and that you are not a man that you should lie or even a son of man that you should change your mind (Numbers 23:19) Matthew 6:33
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
  • That the emerging generation of message bearers will seek the kingdom of God first
  • That they will not be guilty of forsaking their first love for you just like the church in Ephesus
MESSAGE BEARERS
Genesis 12:2
“I will make you into a great nation,
    and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing.
  • Lord may you teach the church in Uganda that you extend your blessings  to us so as in return we can be a blessing to others
  • that the  church in Uganda will extend its blessings to North Africa, East Africa, West Africa, specifically in Sudan and Somalia and also to middle eastern countries
  • Stir the church to embrace the mission vision
  • Thank you for James and his team in Uganda, continue giving him the wisdom, knowledge and favor that comes from you even as he creates awareness and educates leaders how to make their ministries incubators for mission work in future
  • May you give creative ideas to generate income for mission vision in the Ugandan church and even to the mission sending agencies
  • Raise people who are professionals, business men and women who are going to give sacrificially for the mission work
  • Raise young people who are going to be tent makers and are going to be committed to go as professionals in unreached areas and then be committed to starting bible studies, planting churches and even sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ at their areas of influence for your glory and honor
