ABANDONED DEVOTION IN KENYA
1 Kings 18:21
21 Elijah went
before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If
the Lord is God, follow
him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
- Lord we pray that Kenya will come to this situation whereby it’s either Jesus or the devil
- Bring the church to the point of not compromising anymore
- Lord bring this realization that without you we can do nothing
- That the church will go back to the abandoned devotion lifestyle and that through this you shall draw men to your presence
- We pray that all those who are called by your name will call out to you out of a pure heart and that they shall hunger and thirst for more of you just as a deer panteth for the streams of water
- Release your Holy Spirit to stir the lukewarm church back to life
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the
salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good
for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
- The church in Kenya has lost its saltiness to the whole country and to the continent of Africa. Kenya used to be a haven of peace where refugees could get rest and comfort but know Kenyans have taken this for granted
- Lord we cry out to you this morning, restore this country, build Kenya again for your glory
- Help the Kenyan church to take up her position once again to intercede for the peace. Also to take advantage of all the refugees in the country and use this opportunity to tell them about Jesus, so as when the refugees go back to their country they can spread the good news of Jesus to their community and family where no one else would
- Let your spirit move in this country in a mighty way
- Have mercy and compassion for your people in Kenya. We pray that the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will reign in Kenya from the North, East, West and South
- We frustrate and cut short all the works of the enemy, we declare there will not be any more bloodshed in this country in the mighty name of Jesus
- Expose all the works of darkness in Jesus name, let Kenya be a testimony that the God of Israel is God over this country
- Raise a generation focused on you, raise leaders after your own heart, raise them just as you did to Joshua the predecessor of Moses who led your people into the ways of the Lord
Psalms 2:8
Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
- Call men and women into your vineyard Lord
- Let them hear your voice calling them
- Equip them and send them out Lord
- Mobilize total resources for those you are calling to go and for the others help them to commit to praying and giving towards this endeavor that your name shall be glorified
- That these young people shall tell people about you and even win souls for your kingdom
- raise a generation that will obey you; that will realize that to you obedience is better than sacrifice
Isaiah 42:8
"I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my
glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols.
- Lord we pray against the spiritual darkness in this country
- Destroy the foundation of Buddha and may you make yourself known to the people that you created
- Break down the spirit of fear that has captured the believers and even the missionaries
- Set your people free Lord
- We pray for boldness that is given by the Holy Spirit to arise and declare like Esther; ‘If I Perish, I perish,’ but I will proclaim the word of the Lord!
