ABANDONED DEVOTION IN PHILIPPINES

Colossians 1:9-10

⁹ For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, ¹⁰ so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

• Release an understanding of your will to your church Lord
• May they be filled with a spiritual understanding of the knowledge of both general will of  God towards the church and also know the will of God to an individual
• That their love for one another will abide in them more and more, that they will be known as Christ followers by their love for one another
• That churches will work in unity
• We pray against the spirit of complacency and individualism but Lord we pray that you will bring revival

Isaiah 61:10

I delight greatly in the Lord;
    my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
    and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
    and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

• The church will learn to let their souls delight in the Lord alone
• That the Lord will clothe them with a garment of salvation
• Lord we pray that righteousness will be a mark of believers in Philippines
• We pray that you shall teach the young Philippines to live victorious lives, to walk by the spirit and not by the flesh as outlined in Romans 8
• Release your grace upon them in Jesus name

REVIVAL & SPIRITUAL AWAKENING

• Thank you for what you have been doing in this country for the last 10years
•  Lord we know you are able to bring revival in this country,just as you did in Wales in 1904,Lord do it in Philippines for your glory 
•  May there be such a tangible presence of God in that country all over and especially where sinners congregate eg. Night clubs, that will lead to deep repentance and confessions
• We know that revival comes after living as per the word of God instructs by studying the bible in in-depth and in an unhurried way
• Let the believers be doers of your word Lord

Isaiah 61:1-3

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim freedom for the captives
    and release from darkness for the prisoners,^[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
    and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
³     and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
    instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
    for the display of his splendor.

• Bend the hearts of young people to getting aligned with your will for them
• May there a great dependence of these young people to the Holy Spirit and not on their own capabilities in order to bring glory to your name among the unreached people of the world
• We pray that the local churches and ministries will be incubators for the great commission vision
• That Philippines will be the Antioch that is be the mission sending center for South East Asia
• Activate churches and individuals to become message bearers for your glory
