ABANDONED DEVOTION IN NIGERIA
- Lord that there shall be a paradigm shift that Christianity is not about prosperity and smooth life, may you teach them also and give them the right understanding of the gospel of suffering just as Jesus did
- Refute the understanding that Jesus exists only to bless believers only; but we exist to obey Jesus, bring glory and honor to His holy name in both easy and difficult assignments, and in all these He requires each one of us to be faithful
- Lord we pray that you shall bring down all the towers of Babel’s that some of the Ministers of the gospel have build for themselves and they are only concerned with their fame and wealth instead of teaching men how to follow Jesus
- Lord we pray that you shall use the persecution of the church in Nigeria to bring believers back to yourself and to seeking your face in truth and in Spirit
- Lord we pray that you are going to put to shame and frustrate all the false prophets and false ministers and all those who have made covenants with the powers of darkness so as to attract more people into your kingdom, Lord may you separate wheat and chaff; that is show clearly those who are truly following you and your ways
- Help the believers in Nigeria to know that the only place of refuge and safety is in your presence
- We pray against the spirit of religion which is not the true Christianity
SPIRITUAL AWAKENING
- Lord may you re-dig the wells of revival and spiritual intimacy for this emerging generation of believers, just as Isaac re-dug the wells of his father Abrahan
- May this generation choose to go deep with you and Lord may you transfer the previous generational blessings to the emerging generation
- Raise these young people to become the carriers of the message of fire, make them fearless and that the only thing they fear is you Lord alone.
- Send them out with your message, message of love and salvation. Give them a new level of dependence on you; that they will look to you as their source not only of material things but of joy, peace, patience, self control etc
- Your word says to them that much has been given, much is expected. Lord you have given the church in Nigeria so much and for that you expect much from it
- Enlighten the leadership of the church and help them to prepare, equip young people and then release them to go serve the Lord wherever He may be calling them
- Lord we release the vision 5050 to your hands; that you raise and equip 50,000 young people to go out with your message to the nations
- Lord equip also all the mission sending agencies with total resources we pray
- We pray that these you are raising will be full of humility, meekness and full of the Holy Spirit and help them to remain humble even though they are verbally persecuted and spoken against
- Let them have a total dependence on you Jesus; let them be zealous for you glory only and not for fame. Let them be moved by compassion by all the unreached of the world
- Lord we thank you for all the young people you are already raising. Fill them with your wisdom and knowledge even as they share your word, speak through them we pray
- Lord to all them facing various challenges, we know that you are very much aware of the challenges, Lord may you encourage them and enable them to obey your call even if it means risking their very lives to even go to the hostile Northern part of Nigeria
